Cara Crawford

As Director of Central Oklahoma Dance Center, Cara provides a fine blend of academic skill and dance experience. While completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy at Oklahoma University, Cara toured with the Oklahoma Festival Ballet Company.

Cara's dance training includes ballet in Russia at the Minsk Byelorussian State Academy, the University of Oklahoma, Quartz Mountain Summer Arts Institute, and jazz and tap performances in New York, Hollywood, Chicago, and Las Vegas.

Education & Training

1986 - BFA, University of Oklahoma. Instructed by Miguel Terekhov, Yuvonne Choteau & Marget Holt

1985–1986 - Quartz Mountain Summer Arts Institute. Studied modern dance with Nora Gutherie of New York and Ko Yukihiro of Japan

1985 - USSR (Classical Ballet) Minsk, Russia. Studied ballet with Clara Nickolivna. Certificate from Minsk Choreography School

1985–1986 - Professional training in Las Vegas, Hollywood, and New York
